Justine Ross
President
Justine Ross has led Murdoch University Volleyball Club (MUVC) since 2022, serving as both President and player. She has been instrumental in building a supportive and inclusive club culture, focused on development, community, and long-term sustainability.
Known for her commitment to her members, Justine makes an effort to know every team and player personally, and advocates strongly for their wellbeing—working to make MUVC not just a club, but a family.
Lyn Tan
Secretary
Lyn Tan is the friendly face behind the scenes as Murdoch University Volleyball Club's Secretary, helping keep the club running smoothly while always being approachable and happy to lend a hand. Off the court, she's a dedicated veterinarian, bringing the same care and compassion to her profession as she does to the club. On the court, Lyn competes in our Division 1 Reserve Women's team, where her positive attitude and team-first mentality make her a valued teammate and club member.
Laura Mocca
Head Coach - Women's & State League Reserve Coach
Laura, our Head Coach for Ladies' teams and coach of both our Men's and Women's State League Reserve Teams, is an internationally accredited coach with 30 years experience. She is also a coach and co-founder at the outdoor beach volleyball venue, The Hub.
Laura is a passionate coach who can regularly be heard telling players to “Never give up!”. A philosophy she lives by is to always love what you do, work hard and have as much fun as you can.
Aside from a love of volleyball, Laura is also a big lover of her dog, Thor. Who regularly accompanies her and Manu to The Hub as a mascot.
Emanuele Nagliati
Head Coach - Men's & State League Reserve Men's Coach
Our State League Reserve Men’s Team is lead by Manu; an internationally accredited coach with 30 years of experience training volleyball players.
Manu is a passionate coach who believes in learning from your own mistakes and can always be heard reminding his players to “BE SMART!” Manu is lucky to be supported on the side-lines (and in life) by his wife; Laura.
Manu and Laura’s wedding guests comprised of more volleyball playing friends than relatives. Together they form an integral part of our volleyball community, having co-founded The Hub and sitting on many committees.
Terina Taylor
Head of Marketing
Terina Taylor is the creative force behind Murdoch University Volleyball Club's marketing, serving as our Head of Marketing and bringing the club to life through engaging social media, eye-catching graphics, and promotional materials. Her work helps showcase everything MUVC has to offer while keeping our members and community connected. On the court, Terina is a key member of our Division 1 Reserve Women's team, combining her creativity off the court with a strong team-first attitude on it.
Rameen Asad
Fundraising Officer
Rameen Asad is Murdoch University Volleyball Club's Fundraising Officer, leading initiatives that help support the club both on and off the court. From organising successful bake sales to coordinating a Bunnings sausage sizzle fundraiser, Rameen is always finding new ways to bring the club together while raising valuable funds. She also competes in our Division 1 Reserve Women's team, where her enthusiasm, teamwork, and willingness to get involved make her a valued member of the MUVC community.
Menzie Choi
Events Coordinator
Menzie Choi is Murdoch University Volleyball Club's Events Coordinator, helping bring the club together through memorable social events. He successfully organised our Club Opening Event and is now leading preparations for our end-of-season Wind Up, creating opportunities for members to connect both on and off the court. Menzie also competes in our Division 1 Reserve Men's team, where he is a valued teammate who contributes to the strong culture of the club.
