Miki Delos Santos

Miki Delos Santos has been coaching MUVC’s top women’s team since 2022 and is a Level 2 Accredited Coach. Under his leadership, the team has consistently excelled, making finals in 2023 and 2024, and tracking strongly for another finals appearance in 2025.

Miki is known for his strict but compassionate coaching style—he sets high expectations for his players while also supporting them when they need it most. He is approachable and easy to get along with, often using humour to keep training sessions engaging by playfully poking fun at his athletes.

Before Justin Melling took over as Participation Coach, Miki led MUVC’s Kids and Junior Volley programs for nearly three years. Many of his junior athletes have since progressed into senior competition, with some now representing MUVC in Men’s Division 1 Reserve and Division 2 in 2025—a testament to his long-term impact on player development.

Miki’s blend of structure, technical expertise, and dedication to his team, has made him an integral part of MUVC’s coaching team and the continued success of its women’s program.
