Toby Stanton

Toby Stanton is a dedicated coach and high school teacher at Melville Senior High School, where many of MUVC’s junior boys begin their volleyball journeys. His involvement in the sport extends well beyond the club—Toby also coaches the boys' volleyball teams for School Sport WA, supporting junior athlete development across school and club competitions.

In 2025, Toby led our Year 9/10 Girls WAVJL team with enthusiasm and care. Under his guidance, the team showed impressive growth, with noticeable skill development, consistently high attendance, and a strong sense of team spirit. The girls clearly enjoyed every session, which is a testament to Toby’s positive and engaging coaching style.

Toby also stepped up multiple times this season to coach the Men’s Division 3 team when needed, and his reliability and professionalism have not gone unnoticed. Always punctual and prompt with communication, Toby is a coach we know we can count on.

Whether he’s coaching at school, in WAVJL, or supporting senior teams, Toby brings consistency, warmth, and a genuine passion for helping young athletes thrive.
